自信：最牢靠的根基 最好的禮物
據我所知，愛總是會與喜歡和自信相伴相隨。我們栽種在孩子身上的自信會讓他們深深的信任自己。這將會給他們搭建可以在生活的任何時刻遊刃有餘、可上可下的一把梯子或是一個堅實的地基。而且信任（孩子）是需要非常自然而然發生的，不過這點實際上在很多現實的因素下卻很難做到。
前兩天一位從事農業的朋友跟我提起他的“自然農耕法”，並把它跟“有機農業”的區別解釋給我聽。自然農耕法是建立在我們不破壞土地法準則上，他這樣說道，也就是說我們不是用肥料，包括有機肥。我們也不除草，不動土，也不會去區分什麼有益的昆蟲和害蟲。你需要做大量的試驗，去知道什麼是適合在你這塊土地上生長，什麼是不適合這塊土地的。所以在此之前你需要不斷的試誤。最初幾年很有可能是顆粒無收的狀態，但一旦你瞭解了你這塊土地的自我調節機制，土地就會開始源源不斷地回報你了，使得每一年的土地都會越來越好，趨於和諧而完整的狀態。
我在致力於土地的同時，土地也在回報我。“然後呢？”，我的朋友笑著，停頓了一會，他身後是一片金黃的稻穗，“事實是人們沒有耐心等待，他們急於想要立即看到結果，他們想要至少可以跟他們鄰居相同的成效。因此也不斷會有鄰居們找上門來說我這樣做只是在浪費時間。他們當然收穫了更多，但我只是才剛搬來這裡，我知道再過上幾年他們就會看到和明白的。事實上你應該去信任，信任大自然的運作法則，信任自己的付出將有回報，不去計較先前的失敗。不過很多人並沒有聽進去我說的這些。”
THE CONFIDENCE: A FUNDAMENTAL BASE.
Love and confidence go together. And the confidence we place in our children will allow them to trust themselves. It is going to give them a floor, a solid base where to rely on all the moments of life when they both need to restand motivation. Trusting have to be natural, of course, but it would seems to be very difficult in many cases. Two days ago a farmer friend explained me the difference between "natural agriculture” and "organic agriculture”. Natural agriculture, he told me, is based on the idea that we don't break the land; we don't use fertilizers, either natural ones. We don't remove the grass, we don't remove the soil, we don't consider that there are good insects and bad insects. You have to do many tests, to understand what can grow in the place where you are, and what we cannot. You have to make many mistakes before. The first years probably have no performance. But once you understand how the balance of your place works, then Earth will give you much more and it will never dry out. Each year will be better and better and in harmony. I contribute to the earth and the earth gives it back to me. “What happens”, my friend told me smiling, pausing for a moment among the golden spikes of rice “what happens is that people can't wait. They want to see the result immediately; they want to obtain at least as much as the neighbor. And I always have neighbors who come and tell me that I waste my time. That they reap much more. I just moved here, but I know that in a few years they will understand. What happens is that you have to trust. Trust in nature, in balance; trust that at the end it will work out, despite all the failures. And a lot of people don't get that point”.
